Because we issue work permits per employer, we cannot issue work permits until students (you) receive a job offer.
Because we issue work permits per employer, we cannot issue work permits until students receive a job offer. When a student receives a job offer, students and employer must fill out the "Intent to Employ a Minor" form and submit this your homeroom teacher.
Per the student handbook, we only issue work permits to students who meet the following guidelines. Requests for work permits should go to a student's homeroom teacher. The homeroom teacher must verify that the student's GPA and attendance are in good standing.
• Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA
• Are not under attendance evaluation.
Once your homeroom teacher verifies your grades and attendance, your homeroom teacher can send the "Intent to Employ a Minor" form to our Head of Schools, who will complete a work permit and return to your homeroom teacher.
Please allow for at least 10 working days to return your permit paperwork. In order for us to complete Work Permit paperwork, you must be in good standing with the school and maintain good standing in terms of attendance and progress, or we revoke work permits.
