As noted earlier, California Assembly Bill 1316 (AB 1316) would have had a tremendously negative impact on charter school students in our state, including our own Method students and families. But thanks to thousands of California families and organizations who believe parents should have a say in where their child attends school, AB 1316 is dead.
Some California legislators continue to fight against charter schools, even though charter schools work for students. And we'll need your help to make sure all students' voices are heard in our state. But this is a huge victory for California families, especially those who are choosing to enroll their children in non-classroom-based schools, like Method, and we think it's ok to celebrate!
